PUBLIC NOTICE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1994 (SECTION 38) AS AMENDED BY THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION REGULATION ACT, 2009 (SECTION 46)

PROPOSED PEDESTRIANISATION OF THE LOWER SECTION OF TOWER ST

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Cork City Council proposes to permanently pedestrianise the section of Tower St adjacent to the O’Sullivan Apartments development currently under construction. The prevention of vehicular access will be achieved by the installation of bollards at the Barrack St end of Tower St and adjacent to the rear of the O’Sullivan Apartments development.

Details of the proposal are available to view at https://consult.corkcity.ie Alternatively they will be made available for inspection by appointment at Reception Desk, Cork City Council, City Hall, Cork on working days from Tuesday 6th February 2024 to Wednesday 6th March 2024, from 9:00 am to 4:30pm.
